October 2023 - Commissioned by Waterbom for the park’s 30th Anniversary in 2023, this sculpture represents Waterbom’s relationship with nature and the park’s observance of the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana (the 3 ways to happiness & harmony).

Balinese artist, Udianata has interpreted the theme of the ‘Harmony of the Elements’ and crafted a bamboo artwork incorporating 4 organic shapes to capture the distinct characteristics of each of the elements.

EARTH is depicted as unwavering and steadfast, symbolising stability and solidity within the overall composition.

AIR is conveyed through its irregular motions, evoking a sense of its dynamic presence.

WATER cascades gracefully downward in the composition, offering a tactile experience.

FIRE is dynamic and dramatic on the top of the piece, with its upward movement drawing the viewer’s attention.
