Our Park: Discover Waterbom
First opened on the island of Bali just over 28 years ago, in 1993, Waterbom Bali is a boutique, botanical waterpark experience, nestled in the heart of Kuta. The park was built with the aim to create a space that provides visitors a memorable and fun experience, while also respecting the natural world around us. Thus, Waterbom Bali was consciously developed to complement the existing environment, with over 50% of the area’s local greenery being conserved, and all the slides and features of the park built around the existing flora and fauna, rather than over it.
Surrounding Waterbom’s world-class slides and attractions, lies a carefully landscaped sanctuary of gardens and water systems proudly representing the beauty of Bali.
To this day, Waterbom encompasses more than 5 hectares, including slides, our popular ‘Pleasure Pool’ with swim-up bar, private gazebo areas, expansive lawns and multiple restaurants and still maintains more than half of the park as green space, including a number of endangered native species.

Waterbom provides the perfect combination of thrill and chill for guests, with 26 slides built and maintained to international safety standards throughout the park.

When it’s time to refuel after sliding, we aim to provide a variety of high quality, great value, tasty dishes and excellent service. Far from the standard fare offered in theme parks or tourist attractions, our food and beverage team have created a selection of extensive cuisines which are available throughout our restaurants and snack stands in the park.
We continually strive to improve the entire guest experience and actively seek feedback to ensure we consistently surpass the expectations of our visitors, which we believe contributed to us being voted Asia’s #1 Waterpark on Tripadvisor several years in a row.

It is now a major focus of the business to continue implementing sustainable business practices to reduce waste and the burden on natural resources while also driving a quantifiable return for the business.
Waterbom follows a comprehensive implementation plan to improve the longterm sustainability of the business practices across organic farming, carbon neutral as well as water, waste and energy management.
