April 2024 - In our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we're constantly exploring innovative ways to minimize our environmental footprint, preserving resources for the future, and supporting organizations who share the same vision. Recognizing the importance of water, we're thrilled to share our latest initiative in celebration of World Water Day (Fri 22 March 2024).

We are now setting our sights on an ambitious and bold target - we aim to reach net-zero emissions by 2033, as part of our contribution to a low-carbon future. So, what does this actually mean?

From its very inception, Waterbom has placed a strong emphasis on environmental responsibility, integrating sustainable practices into its operations and fostering a team culture that aligns with the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana.In December we were honoured to receive the Tri Hita Karana Super Platinum III Award for 2023.

Our CEO, Sayan Gulino, has recently been recognized as one of the 11 finalists in the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2023 (EOY) Indonesia program.

On this World Tree Day, we celebrate the important role of trees in our park and their significance in our community.

Commissioned by Waterbom for the park’s 30th Anniversary in 2023, this bamboo sculpture represents Waterbom’s relationship with nature and the park’s observance of the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana

For our 30th Anniversary celebration and official opening of Oasis Gardens area, the park was transformed into an enchanting magical space, exploring the theme, ‘The Harmony of the Elements.’

Our Saturday poolside event is back this summer, allowing you to enjoy sliding, BBQ lunch, tropical cocktails and chilled island tunes poolside, as the sun starts to set!

For our adrenalin junkies, go straight to the top of the tower and try The Drop, a suspenseful tube ride with an 8-meter slide drop, or jump on the renewed Boomerang, our iconic slide has a new home and new look, but continues launching squealing riders up its vertical wall!

Almost there! Get ready to explore Oasis Gardens, the newest addition to Waterbom Bali, set to open its doors soon!

In early July, Superbowl will take it's Last Lap and we will say goodbye to one of our favourite slides. The area will be part of our new Kid's development happening in the end of the year, so we need to make some room!

Starting on Friday 2 June, head down to our new Sliders Bar & Grill at Waterbom for lunch, and be entertained by our talented FlowRider team, showing off their tricks and skills on the wave!

We welcome a new dining experience to Waterbom, think tasty burgers, buns, tacos and bites, cooked fast and fresh in the open kitchen grill, and icy cold beers or tropical cocktails to quench your thirst.

As our architecturally-designed, winding slide tower takes centre stage, pools are being carved out, additional trees are being planted, slides are being constructed, gazebos are being built. 

As construction continues on our park expansion next door, the first renovation involved upgrading our park temple. We increased its size and our internal team have re-designed it to show our gratitude and reinforce our strong ties to the island.

A fun way for the team to get creative and re-purpose old materials, and highlight our park's sustainability focus.

Waterbom Bali broke ground last month on stage one of a new 1.3 hectare park expansion, set to open in 2023, when the park will also be celebrating its 30th Anniversary.
